| Quiet Morning In Perkins Cove For several years now, while crossing the footbridge on my way to the gallery, I've enjoyed the privilege of seeing Perkins Cove in the quiet part of the day. The stillness in these early hours is captivating with a beautiful, subtle light pouring into the usually bustling cove. I painted this view from the water level on the wharf, looking seaward, as a sliver of early morning light peeked past the rocky entrance and gradually illuminated the ocean beyond. To me, this piece is a statement of a place in time - a statement of today's Perkins Cove. |
